In Life they are three types of friends; those who are there for a reason, those for a season and others for a lifetime. I rather friends who carry all 3 titles and with that one name comes to mind and it is none other than IP District Treasurer/Webmaster Rachel Boyce. Without someone like her then the CAribbean Atlantic District would still be in formation. Let me describe her in these three categories using the district instead of friends.
Rachel, the reason - Being Treasurer two consecutive years she has been able to assist the district in keeping a healthy bank account. Being Webmaster she has been able to pull off what others have only dreamt about and that is the official website of the Caribbean-Atlantic District. This is what you call Rachel being in the District for a reason.
Rachel, the season - When she joined Key CLub I believed she had a mission. This mission would probably be to uplift the Key Club in any way she could. Her years in Key Club felt like a company who in its first year had a 30 million dollar profit. This is what you call Rachel being in the District for a season.
Rachel, for a lifetime - It seems as if we wont survive without her but we are trying our best  and we are succeeding . The words of the final verse of the Alexandra School Song go like this, "We are following the pathway led by those of yesteryear. Who have behind a challenge, bid us take it without fear. As we leave for those who follow trails upwards to the stars. Joyfully we hear the echo, PER ARDUA AD ASTRA."
Per Ardua Ad Astra means through difficulty to the stars and if you read the verse again you would see it speaks about Rachel and how we try to follow in her footsteps, not only hearing but seeing the difficulty she encountered but still reached the stars to ensure that is where the Caribbean Atlantic District is placed. This my friends is Rachel for a lifetime.

At this time I want to THANK her for all her hard work, which even though she is no longer in Key Club continues to do to insure the well being of her District.
